We therefore aim to connect prospect home owners and builders with green and energy efficient designs. The services offered in this platform seeks to reduce carbon footprint in the construction industry, manage construction cost and enhance energy efficiency.
Whether you are uploading your designs or purchasing the green designs, these Terms outline the expectations, rights, and responsibilities of users and Ecolitmus.
Ecolitmus provides the following category of service;
Purchase of Green designs. There are pre-designed plans that green home enthusiasts can browse, view details, add to cart and purchase through our platform. After payment, these plans and building instructions are immediately available for download. Once the purchase is complete, you are connected to the designer where you can discuss further about your project and get personalized assistance in case you need adjustments or modifications about your designs.
Upload of green plans. The designers are able to create an account and upload their green designs to the platform. They will access to personalized dashboard to manage their sells, modify their designs, chat in the community section, and keep in touch with their clients.
Professional construction services. The platform offers design and construction expertise guiding the home owner every step of the way to realize their dream.
We advocate for designs that reduced carbon emission and enhances sustainability of the building during construction. We also ensure that ensures that our buyers receive comprehensive documentation, including architectural drawings and detailed layouts, for every design purchased.
Ecolitmus reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or introduce new services as necessary. While every effort is made to ensure uninterrupted access to the website, we do not guarantee that our services will always be available without delays or interruptions.
To use certain features of the Ecolitmus platform, including purchasing designs or uploading designs or engaging in our community section, users must create an account. When creating an account, users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of the account.
Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Unauthorized use of an account should be reported to Ecolitmus immediately. Account holders must use their accounts solely for the purpose of accessing the services offered by the platform. Engaging in prohibited activities, such as phishing, misrepresentation, or attempts to bypass security features may lead to account termination.
Ecolitmus reserves the right to monitor account activity and suspend or terminate accounts if they violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices.
Ecolitmus provides a seamless and secure process for purchasing house designs and other services in the platform. For ready-made designs, buyers can browse the website, select their preferred design, add it to their cart, and make a secure payment. Once payment is confirmed, the design is available immediately for payment.
Also, once the purchase is complete, the designer is credited with the amount less the percentage of service fee that will be determined from time to time depending on the prevailing demand of the designs.
All prices listed on the website inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Ecolitmus reserves the right to modify pricing at any time, but such changes will not affect transactions already completed.
Ecolitmus strives to provide high-quality designs and services which are customer centered. For ready-made designs, refunds are not offered once the design and plans have been downloaded. However, if an item explicitly listed in the design description is missing, Ecolitmus will rectify the issue by providing the missing document through the designer at no additional charge.
If upon request, the designer cannot provide the missing documents that may be critical for the implementation of the design, then the buyer can launch a complain to support regarding the design. Our team will take 5 working days to resolve and determine whether the buyer is entitled for a refund. The eventual determination is final.
All designs, plans, and content available on Ecolitmus.co.ke are the intellectual property of Ecolitmus. By purchasing a design, users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the design for personal construction purposes only.
Users are expressly prohibited from copying, distributing, reselling, or modifying Ecolitmus designs without prior written permission. Any unauthorized use of Ecolitmus’s intellectual property may result in legal action. Users found violating this section may also have their accounts terminated without notice.
